Laughing out loud.

What is the human instinct?
Well, Sigmund Freud says it's sex.
Well, true is that studies shows tt an average dude thinks abt sex 1/6 of his matured life. So basically e mental clock in a man's head tick one-two-three-four-five-sex... one-two-three-four-five-sex...
NahH, sex is ultimately part of self interest. Hedonism is the true human, and inherently all of animal's, instinct. Pursuing of tt which enhances one's own utility through pleasure. Otherwise how do you link us mugging our heads off for e As to having multiple orgasms? Scholars dunn study all their poor geeky life jt to fulfill their "human instinct" for great sex. In fact, I think they have just abt e opposite.
According to one part of Anna Coote's "What's So Terrible About the Nanny State, Anyway?", an article an edition of The Guardian in 2004, she talks abt our contradicting desires for not being controlled by nanny governments and wanting legislation imposed on regulating the amount of negative externality in e society. An explicit example she gave was tt (anyone in the street) would welcome a smoking ban. BUT... But this would be e case only if these pple asked belong to e large majority of non-smokers. In the end, humans are still selfish beasts.
I mean, lookit S'pore alone, e homeland I'm proud yet ashamed of, where e pple loves PAP's NSS, ERS and wadever lan shares, yet often hate'em jt for e sake of hating them. Back at e topic of banning smoking, nw you cant even smoke at kopitiams and pubs. It's like, a gd thing for me larrs, since I rarely smoke... no, this time it has to be absolute: I don't smoke... but at e same time I can hear e smokers quoting Mick Hume with angst a canon truth tt "the fact that you find something offensive is no good reason to turn it into a criminal offence".
Again in S'pore, home to minced-meat noodles without pig liver, another no-no is racism. Or even comments tt cld, in e most minute possibility, smell of racial bias. Such is e lvl of sensitivity on such issues tt one would sooner utter you-know-who's name in e cobbled sidewalks of Hogwarts than joke abt alternatively coloured you-know-which-race. As one can see from how a certain accused had been dealt with, and with what swiftness, all children of e big church had better shut up even if your hatred is grounded in concrete, for e sword of judgement here is made of diamond.
It dawns upon me then, how funny it is how we have to tolerate actions, simply because we cannot tolerate offensive complains about these actions. Thus, it seems tt if you're a minority and your voice is small, your stupid actions in this case will not speak louder than the majority's stupid words. And of course, e pen's always mightier than e sword, isn't it?
...
Tt has much derailed from e original topic of pursuing e nature of e basic human instinct, certainly...
But ultimately, I'm nt saying tt selfishness is a bad thing atall, and I have no right to, of course, given e materialistic and mercenary me. Our limited abilities and empathy dictates tt 99.99% of e time (one can nv be absolute in any situation...) we ourselves are e ones tt noe ourselves and wad we need and want e best. under such a mindset, one of e best social system possible would be a self-serving one. It uses e least resources to generate e greatest utility. At e very least, all resources used would generate happiness for one or another without wastage. Looking from it tt way, it sure beats our current morality tt forces us to put others b4 self. I mean, wad if wad you think is best for e party intended is nt actually so? Your goodwill is little more value than garbage.
