The "Witch Hunter: Robin" tt Arts Central's Animania's showing's giving me some thoughts...

Anime and manga's an art. It's a way the author can express his philosophy under the guise of making entertainment. Or so I see it.

And in WHR, Witches are supposedly usually crazy and violent towards humans for violating their laws of life. Thus, they pose a danger to the generic public and have to be terminated by hunters. Yet, there was this one ep where a character was quoted commenting on both parties as "witches who kill human beings who violate their laws of life... (and) hunters who stop witches who violate their laws of life..." and that "maybe they're not tt different afterall."

HmX. And this one: Before Robin was being hunted down by her own faction... she met a witch who was to stay alive until she cld relate a tale to "The One" (She survived even ordeals like being burnt on the stake...), pretty obvious tt it shld be e protagonist... She told a tale of Man's earliest depictions of his Divine Being. It was a bull-like painting on a cave-wall... the "Devil"... den she rhetorically asked... wad if he was banished not due to his sin of pride, as commanded by "God", but due to e other deities' jealousy of his potence?

You may think tt I think too much... but WHR's nt e only series where similar concepts exist. Mabbe one author doing this cld mean he's simply "Satanic", in e usually perceived sense, but if this many of them? Mabbe I'm deviating, since they cld be doing this only becuz stuff of this genre sell better... but den again, why'd you think they sell so well den?

Like Lingz have reminded me, history is jt but a story heralding e victor. Wad "evidence" can such a story hold?
