Friday saw the semi-finals of some granduer international debate. The teams were Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and Pakistan. =)

I went 2 watch it. Actually muh purpose b4hand was to go visit Annilism (who in e end I nvr did meet cuz she was too busy decorating her hse notice board) but nvm tt... debates are exciting by nature anw... so it dint matter in e end.

E movement was to bann all arms trade with non-democracies. L33t. Not like some allowing unlimited foriegn investment one we had last week...

We were watching the match btwn Singapore and Australia as they shot at each others points and provided a blardy list of non-democratic countries. You'd think non-democracies'd have been nearly extinct save a handful right?! Hell, I sure dint noe e existence of e UAE, or tt Qatar or Brunei's nt a democratic country, till tt evening...

Personally, I supported e opposition... nt becaws it was Singapore... but cuz I thot it wldnt b fair to judge a country by its governing system, instead of the policies it proposes...

In e end, e Down Under won, but it's been a terrific exchange of arguments... We found out after e competition tt all e debators were nearly our age, and e whole Singapore team was even younger than us~!! Wad an embarrassment for us to even compete with them for air on Earth...

Nahh... I have talents too. Just mostly undiscovered. For example, I have a talent at consoling myself.
