I really take my hat off to the proprietor of 7-11. Tt cockroach of a company's practically all over e world!!

I heard it all started from a concept of a convenience store tt'll serve the 9-5 working public. Hence it has to open b4 9 and close after 5, for obvious reasons~ As a result, the very original 7-11s opens daily from, duh... seven to eleven.

Let's juz narrow our view to this minute red dott on the globe. Further narrow it down to this estate in the north named Woodlands. Heck, there's one at CWP, one at Marsiling MRT Station, one at Admiralty Place, Vista Point, 888 Plaza, The Woodgrove... it goes on~ Ok, mabbe's one thing's cuz the Woodlands' area's pretty big having incorporated Admiralty and Marsiling... but all the stores' within rolling distance~!!

I'm not exaggerating. We zoom in on more familiar grounds. There's a 7-11 near Somerset MRT Station, one more as you walk towards Monsters... beyond Borders I'm sure there'd be a few more... ALL along one stretch of road~!! You gotta wonder wad their firm's objective is, conquer the world? I mean, if it was juz simple profit maxing wuldnt it be detrimental for returns to scale if all the stores so close to each other were to end up competing for a same sample of consumers?!

Ahh heck, the minds of great businessmen... on a lighter note, jfyi, the amount of Big Gulp gulped per year's over an astronomical 30 million gal. Tts ehh... abt enough to fill 59 swimming pools bah?! O.o
