Then I say NOT wanting to know is wisdom. And I certainly have no wish to understand game hackers.
According to Dictionary.com, the first and most common stand for a game would be "an activity providing entertainment or amusement..." so basically, the main point is tt you enjoy it, ehh?
And wad's the main point of an RPG? Well, obviously the Rocket-Propelled Grenade's the usual way to devastate the enemy by the dozens and it's your bestest sidekick in ANY of the Duke Nukem games... err... I mean ahh... as the name "Role-Playing" suggest, you task is to make up the persona of the character you're playing; you lead an alternate life on some parallel existence...
Like when you play Maple, you become this adventurer sucked into their realm to... well, adventure. The sights and experience you get from the game leads your character, you, to decide which discipline he/she'll follow. As lame as it sounds, that's the point of the story.
When you play Feng Wan, you transform into another person totally. You're not some average geek sucked in, no, you're born in ancient, mystical China where almost every other man you see can thread water like a dragonfly. You live your life as a pugilist with potential to defeat Xiong Ba, the final and most evil way you can pronounce "power". And that's so even if you're not some excellent player.
While you're tt new person you are, there's no rubbish as to you can't die. There's no bullshit like having infinite "mana". There's no nonsense such as unlimited steel arrows. Wad, you're trying to tell me your arrows miss you so much they home back to your possession once it'd done its role poking Balrog Jr.? Go fuck the wall lar...
To me, playing roles is like entering a new world, having a new life, and I think tt's how I can get mesmerised by RPGs so much more than many others... cuz I play it like how's it shuld be played.
All you hackers, you're not cheating any game but your own sanity. I can hack, too, and have my sate hit all the time, even through the canes, and 1 hit K.O. you... but I dunn. Wad's the joy in winning everything by hacking? Where's the honour of being the most fearsome warrior through the codes you make? Or worse, you copy/paste somebody's work... The pride is not yours.
